paper-cuts to unbelievers

this will be short + sweet as usual:

AKIRA return to action this month with a string of gigs that begins with their monthly night at the Catch Bar in Shoreditch.

amazing post-rockers DETWIIJE will be headlining. in preparation for their January French tour, the band will be road-testing material for their new album. feedback, violin, guitars, stars and projected imagery.

providing able support will be the AKIRA [inevitably] and the noise-pop male-female quiet-loud OCTOBER ALL OVER. their new album is called ‘Sixteen Stages’ and it’s ace. come. see. buy.

the witty and acoustic STEVE MANN will be opening things up and may even feature an upright bass player.

so, that’s: DOUBLE DARES DON’T WORK ON TERRORISTS, Wednesday, Nov. 8th, Catch Bar, 22 Kingsland Road [really near Old Street tube]. Doors 8pm. ENTRY FREE.

some kind of future is going on and it’s going on for free.

come and see for yourself.

we hope you are okay.

…this is gonna be good and there should be a good crowd.

great music for free isn’t something you come across often in The Nation’s Capital, so get down to Shoreditch tonight if you like your guitar music intelligent, futurist and loud.
